Jay Adamski, NCIDQ
Jay is an Interior and Architectural Designer with over 10 years of experience across both commercial and residential design. A graduate of Philadelphia University with a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, she is deeply interested in the impact that thoughtful design and architecture have on people’s daily lives and the built environment. Through years of hands-on experience, Jay has learned that every project comes with its own unique set of needs—and that careful attention to detail is essential to creating spaces that truly work for the people who use them.
Jay’s connection to design and construction began early. When she was just 10 years old, her father started his own contracting business, and she spent many summers working alongside him—laying brick patios, installing doors, building partitions, hanging drywall, spackling, painting, and more. Watching her father bring clients’ visions to life sparked a lifelong interest in the construction process and the collaboration between design and building.
Inspired by a teacher who encouraged her to pursue Interior Design, Jay went on to complete her degree and build a diverse career in the field. She has worked on projects ranging from small residential kitchen remodels to large-scale commercial spaces, including warehouses and hotels. In 2023, Jay earned her NCIDQ certification, and a few years later, she followed a long-held goal of opening her own firm.
Jay’s Interior Designs provides comprehensive interior and architectural design services, including space planning, design visualization, construction coordination, furniture and artwork installation, and more. Jay’s wide-ranging experience has equipped her with skills in space planning, 3D modeling and rendering, construction detailing, project management, construction administration, material and sample procurement, and animation. Her goal is to help clients feel informed, confident, and supported throughout the design process—reducing stress and making each project an exciting and rewarding experience.
Outside of work, Jay enjoys hiking and camping along the Appalachian Trail, traveling, crafting, and spending time with her three cats. She looks forward to rescuing another dog once she finds her forever home.
